ESET, The Big Smoke and Internet Safe Education are partnering for Cyber Security Awareness Month

This Cyber Security Awareness Month, ESET, The Big Smoke Media and Internet Safe Education along with other industry leaders are partnering to bring awareness to children’s online safety through a writing and video competition.

The competition encourages school students aged 10 – 18 years to share their experiences online and opinions on “How to Make Australia The Safest Cyber Secure Country in the World”. Entries are now open and close Friday 27 October 2023.

It’s important to give a voice to the current and future generations of children to not only learn from each other but also empower them to be a part of the future of online safety for children in Australia.

We are very excited to announce that Brett Lee has been selected for the competition judging panel and he is actively encouraging students, teachers, parents and career to get involved to support this important initiative.

There are some amazing prizes up for grabs with one winner and one runner-up selected from each of the three age categories: 10-12, 13-15 and 16-18. For more information on how your students can get involved in competition, how to enter and T&Cs hit the button below. Winners will be announced Monday 13 November 2023.
